It's about the Skater: Accomplishment. Atmosphere. Attitude. Together.
Elizabeth began skating at the age of 4. Since then she has skated as a member of the Ann Arbor United High School Skating Team and as a singles freestyle skater. She has taken part in numerous regional freestyle competitions and finished second in the region at the open juvenile level. Elizabeth has competed in singles freestyle skating up to the senior level. Elizabeth hopes to instill the life lessons that skating taught her into her students.
She is a junior at the University of Michigan studying environmental science with a focus on corporate sustainability. She skates on the University of Michigan Figure Skating Team at the Senior Level and compete nationwide as a part of that team. She is a part of multiple consulting clubs at the University of
Michigan that are focused on environmental and social impact.
Elizabeth began volunteering as a part of the Learn To Skate organization at the age of 14 and became hired staff at 16. She is currently a AAFSC Professional coach and looking forward to taking on new students!
Professionally, she works to progress my figure skating students forward by supporting them in expanding their repertoire of figure skating skills and general skating skills through competitions and passing USFS tests.
She has led many students through the Basic Skills, Aspire, and USFS testing programs with great success. Additionally, she has supported her students in gaining confidence, strength, grit, and creativity on the ice.
She is passionate about working with her students to build a solid basis of beginner skating skills that will allow them to succeed as they grow in their abilities. She aims to work with her students to teach them with methodologies that work the best for them and enjoy working with her skaters and their parental figures to figure out the best path forward for their success. She values positive reinforcement, active listening and collaborative coaching for the best results.
In her free time she enjoys being outside, hiking, and eating local food.
