Melissa Keil

Background:

Outside the rink, Melissa is a dentist in Battle Creek, MI where she serves as Dental Director at a Federally Qualified Health Center. Melissa earned both her bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan

Experience:

Melissa was trained under National and World level coaches in Michigan and Colorado. She has 20 years of coaching experience and has worked with skaters of all levels and ages. Her students have passed tests at the Senior level and successfully competed at competitions in and out of state. Her passion is teaching freestyle and she enjoys helping skaters work towards their personal goals. Along with promoting excellence and good sportsmanship on the ice, she also strives to teach her students lessons that will help them succeed in life outside the rink.
