At Nexxice, the on-ice training placed a significant emphasis on developing quality skating skills. This allowed me to gain a deep understanding of edge control, stroking quality, flow, the essential role of maintaining soft knees and ankles, along with other important skating and synchro skills. Additionally, with Nexxice, I competed at several National, International, and World Championship synchronized skating competitions.
In Canada, I also earned an Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto.

Synchronized Skating Coaching
Over the years, I have coached a wide range of synchronized skating levels, from Learn-to-Skate Synchro and Aspire teams to Preliminary, Pre-Juvenile, Intermediate, Novice, and Junior teams. Additionally, I was part of the coaching staff for the Junior Hockettes as the team earned international medals, including gold at the 2025 Budapest Cup in Hungary and bronze at the 2026 Spring Cup in Milan, Italy.
Coaching Style
My coaching style is positive, supportive, and I love helping skaters develop their skills and achieve their goals! During lessons, I actively communicate with my skaters to ensure they feel encouraged and supported. I also typically skate with my students as much as possible to demonstrate techniques, helping them see and feel the nuances and finesse that improve their skills, while also providing immediate feedback.
Lesson Types
I enjoy working with skaters of all ages and skill levels. I offer a variety of lesson types, including general skating skills, Learn to Skate skills, synchronized skating, and Skating Skills Tests (formerly known as Moves in the Field Tests).
Availability
During the week, I have some morning and early afternoon availability, which can work well for adult skaters, college students, or youth skaters with alternative school schedules. Due to the high demand for after-school lesson times, my weekday availability starting around 4:15 p.m. and into the evening is more limited. However, I may still be able to accommodate an after-school or evening lesson depending on the day and time.
If you are interested in lessons, please reach out with your preferred days and times. My schedule has some flexibility, and I do my best to accommodate skaters’ schedules.
