Winter Exhibition and After Glow Party. Sunday, December 14, 2008. Skate with Santa 11:15a to 11:50a. Holiday Exhibition 12pm to 2:05pm and After Glow Party 2:00pm to 4:00pm. All information available at the AAFSC Office or call 734-213-6768.

Annual Dr. Richard Porter Synchronized Team Skating Classic: This is the 13th Annual Porter Classic and it is going to be better and bigger this year. Teams come from all over the United States and Canada. This is an exciting competition with great skating from all levels. Beginners to Senior Level teams will compete. Parking can be an issue, so come early and stay late!

Sept 24

Eastern Great Lakes Regional Send Off Exhibition and Reception: The Exhibition will be from 6:15p to 7:05p and on the Olympic Rink. All Regional and Sectional skaters will perform their competition programs. Admission is free. The reception will be held following the Exhibition in the Banquet Room. Come and cheer for our skaters!
June 14 Consignment Sale at the Michigan Basic Skills Competition. 10am to 4pm in the Ann Arbor Ice Cube Lobby. Used skates, skating dresses, fleece jackets and sweaters. All sorts of used items -- great for the beginning skater!
June 10 Annual Membership Meeting. All AAFSC members welcome to attend and vote for new Board membership.
May 1 The Springtime Invitational Competition is coming soon. The event will be held May 15-18. Check the Competition section for more details.

Mar 7 Midwest Adult Sectional Championships will be held Saturday and Sunday at Veterans Memorial Ice Arena, 2150 Jackson Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48103. Do not come to the Cube (there is a large hockey tournament at the Cube all weekend).
Mar 2 Midwestern Adult Sectionals Gold/Masters Compulsory Moves will be skated on full-ice, as stated in the announcement (not half-ice as might be implied by the posted schedule).
